Description

DIAMOND BIT Cylindrical Round Top, Fine

The EZFLOW Boogie Nights collection is known for its highly pigmented, dazzling acrylic powders designed to bring bold color and sparkle to nail enhancements. The Pansy shade is a key component of this vibrant line.

SPECIFICATION

  • Collection: EZFLOW Boogie Nights
  • Shade: Pansy
  • Size: 0.5 oz (ounce)
  • Product: Colored Acrylic Powder (Polymer)

FEATURES

  • Dazzling Color & Effect: Pansy is a vivid, shimmering color, often described as a deep violet or rich, bright purple. The "Boogie Nights" line is specifically enhanced with holographic film or fine glitter to create an intense sparkle and shine that catches the light.
  • Professional Quality: This is a high-quality acrylic powder, part of the EZFLOW system, designed to be used with a monomer liquid (like EZFLOW's Q-Monomer) to create durable, strong, and flexible nail enhancements.

HOW TO USE

1. Preparation is Key

    • Prep the Nail: Perform a complete manicure: clean, file, gently buff the nail surface to remove shine, and push back/remove cuticle.
    • Dehydrate & Prime: Apply a nail dehydrator followed by an acid or acid-free primer to the natural nail plate. This is essential for proper adhesion and preventing lift.

2. Getting Started

    • Set Up: Pour monomer liquid into a clean dappen dish. Have your acrylic brush and the Pansy powder ready.
    • Dip & Wipe: Dip your acrylic brush into the monomer, then lightly wipe the excess liquid off one side of the brush on the rim of the dish. You want the brush damp, but not dripping.

3. Applying the Color

    • Pick up the Bead: Gently touch the tip of the wet brush into the Pansy powder until a small, wet bead of colored acrylic forms on the brush tip.
    • Place the Bead: Place the bead onto the prepared nail (or over a thin, clear acrylic base layer, which is often recommended for highly pigmented colors).
    • Sculpt: Use the belly of your brush, kept at a shallow angle, to press and guide the acrylic into the desired shape. Keep the product thin around the cuticle area and side walls.
    • Build Opacity: Use additional small beads as necessary to ensure the vibrant Pansy color is fully opaque and evenly distributed.

4. Encapsulation (Crucial for Glitter)

    • Cap with Clear: Since glitter acrylics are often not as strong as clear or white powder, you must encapsulate the entire colored layer with a final layer of clear acrylic powder.
    • This layer protects the glitter from filing, adds essential strength, and allows you to build the correct apex (the structural high point) of the nail.

5. Finishing

  • Cure Time: Allow the acrylic enhancement to fully cure (harden completely).
  • File and Shape: Use a nail file (e.g., 180-grit) to file and refine the shape, structure, and surface smoothness.
  • Buff: Use a buffer block to remove any file marks and prepare the surface for shine.
  • Top Coat: Apply a high-shine gel or traditional top coat to seal the product and make the glitter really sparkle.
