DESCRIPTION 

What does the grit number on buffers mean?
The grit of buffers is a rating of the size of abrasive materials on the buffer. The higher the grit number is equivalent to a finer abrasive, which creates smoother surface finishes. Lower grit numbers represent coarser abrasives that scrape off materials much quicker.

• Super Fine     = 220 Grit
• Very Fine       = 180 Grit
• Fine              = 150 Grit
• Medium         = 100 Grit
• Coarse          = 80 Grit
• Extra Coarse  = 60 Grit
